Job summary

DBS Bank Asia Hub seeks an AVP / Sr. Associate, Security Engineer (IAM) to design and implement secure IAM solutions with a focus on secrets management.

You will drive secure integration of applications, providing operational support for resilient systems and partnering with DevOps and security teams across the bank. The role requires deep experience in non-human identities, cryptography concepts, securely managing keys and certificates, and strong Java development with automation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in application security, security engineering, software development, or IAM; 3+ years in secrets management/ non-human identities.
• Strong Java development and scripting/automation skills.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise secrets management and production deployments.
• Experience with secure API design, cryptography concepts, TLS/SSL certificates and key management.
• CI/CD pipelines, IaC for deployments, containers (Kubernetes/Docker) and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience gathering requirements, secure designs, testing, and production support for enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, operate, and improve IAM security solutions for secrets management.
• Operate highly available, secure application platforms for secrets management and workload identity.
• Configure and support secret engines, policy management, audit logging, and disaster recovery.
• Integrate applications and CI/CD pipelines with IAM using secure patterns.
• Develop automation, tooling, APIs, and IaC to streamline secure onboarding.
• Provide operational support for critical security platforms, including monitoring and incident response.
• Partner with DevOps, cloud, risk, audit, and security teams to embed IAM controls in SDLC.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and evidence to support audit readiness.
