Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Specialist (HVAC & Mechanical) to lead technical oversight for a Jurong Expansion Project in Singapore.

You will review HVAC, cleanroom and mechanical utility designs, provide expert guidance, and coordinate with EPC contractors and internal teams. The role requires a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in high‑tech facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, industrial, data centre or high-tech facilities.
• Experience in design, construction, commissioning and project handover.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom and mechanical utility systems.
• Experience with chilled water, cooling water, CDA, process exhaust or related utilities.
• Familiar with EPC projects, design management and change management.
• BIM knowledge (Revit / Navisworks) is an advantage.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical specialist for HVAC and Mechanical systems for the Jurong Expansion Project.
• Review HVAC, cleanroom and mechanical utility designs, technical submissions and design changes.
• Provide technical support on HVAC, cleanroom and mechanical utility systems.
• Assess technical, cost, schedule and operational impacts of proposed solutions.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Support equipment evaluation, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Resolve technical issues and support project decisions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and authority requirements.
• Support testing, qualification and handover of mechanical systems.
