Senior Human Resources Generalist

Responsible for assisting in the delivery of a full range of human resource services that support the business needs and strategic growth of Manufacturing, Commercial and supporting functions in Singapore.

Talent Acquisition

  • Present qualified list of pre-screened candidates to hiring manager
  • Responsible for full cycle of talent acquisition activities within the business
  • Serves as a strategic Staffing and Talent Acquisition specialist and provide necessary advice to stakeholders
  • Responsible in complete flow of recruitment processes (posting of job advertisements, shortlisting and interviewing of candidates and etc.)
  • Management of offer and salary negotiation process with prospective candidates
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques for senior or mid-level positions including direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, utilization of external research, etc.
  • Collaborating with various organizations (such as tertiary institutions) for career roadshows and internship programs to build organisation's branding

HR Operations

  • Provide necessary confidential administrative support for all human resources function
  • Handle employee relations such as providing guidance on policies and their application; handle disciplinary matters and grievance hearings.
  • Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible records are kept for all employees
  • Lead projects and key initiatives identified from time to time
  • Assist in the co-ordination of social and recreational activities to promote the general welfare of all employees

Project Management

  • Drive HR project initiatives across functional and regional organizations identified from time to time, as assigned

HR Administration

  • Perform other HR related and administrative tasks as assigned

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Human Resources Management or any related discipline preferred

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on HR generalist experience in a dynamic MNC environment
  • Good working knowledge of local employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience on HR Best practices and technologies will be a plus
  • Experience in Workday systems will be added advantage
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a project management role will be added advantage

  • Numerate, meticulous, and responsible and able to have strong initiatives
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft 365
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong bias for action and results oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently and proactively is critical for success
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Demonstrates diplomacy, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Team player and adaptable in a fast-paced stimulating environment
