Job summary

A leading HR service provider in Singapore is looking for an HR Manager to oversee the comprehensive range of HR functions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of the Singapore Employment Act. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing HR policies. This role demands excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant HR experience with 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Hands-on experience in payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including manpower planning, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Oversee both strategic and operational HR matters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business direction.
  • Provide guidance to the HR team in the preparation of employment documents such as appointment letters, contracts, confirmations, promotions, terminations, resignations, retirements, and retrenchments.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and processes to reflect industry best practices and drive efficiency.
  • Take full responsibility for payroll management, including data verification, vetting, and approval prior to submission for processing.
  • Manage employee grievances, conduct disciplinary actions, and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Conduct regular site visits across Singapore to support operations and ensure HR policies are effectively implemented.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably covering the full spectrum of HR functions, with 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Familiar with Singapore Employment Act and other statutory requirements (CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in payroll administration and Whyze systems is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
