A leading company in the HR sector is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations professional to manage regional payroll and provide HR generalist support. The role involves ensuring compliance with local laws, maintaining employee records, and supporting HR initiatives across multiple countries. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in payroll processing and HR policies, with excellent communication skills to work across cultures.
Job Description:
Payroll & HR Operations
• Manage and process regional payroll in an accurate and timely manner, in collaboration with outsourced payroll providers and internal finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, CPF, social security, and statutory reporting requirements across countries.
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Reconcile payroll data, generate reports, and handle audits when required.
HR Generalist Support
• Support countries audits.
• Maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with local laws and company guidelines.
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits.
• Support performance review cycles, learning initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
Regional Coordination
• Support for HR-related matters across regional offices.
• Liaise with local counterparts, HR consultants or service providers to ensure country-specific compliance and updates.
• Support cross-border mobility, expatriate payroll, and coordination of HR projects across the region.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 4–6 years of HR experience with a strong foundation in payroll processing, preferably in a regional or multi-country setting.
• Solid understanding of Singapore labor laws and payroll requirements; regional exposure (e.g., Malaysia, China, Indonesia, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., infotech).
• Meticulous, organized, and discreet with a high level of integrity in handling confidential data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones.
