About the department
The People and Organisation (P&O) department in the APAC region is devoted to supporting business objectives with a strategic aspiration for Novo Nordisk to be a sustainable employer and offer a workplace that is inclusive and diverse. Our department plays a crucial role in ensuring the organisation's effectiveness for the success and growth of Novo Nordisk in the APAC markets. You will be a part of the APAC People & Organisation (P&O) leadership team and will report directly to the Vice President of People & Organisation, APAC.

The position
As the Senior HRBP Manager, you will be based in Singapore, which is the APAC regional headquarters. You will be in charge of partnering with senior management and P&O teams, driving leadership development and management solutions to enhance the APAC regional office. You will drive initiatives that support agility, sustainable employee engagement, and the long-term business success of the region. Details of expectations are as follows but are not limited to:

  1. Partner with senior leadership to drive people strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  2. Identify and analyze leadership gaps, strengthen the leadership pipeline in different functions, initiate leadership development plans, and conduct succession planning initiatives.
  3. Lead regional HR projects and initiatives in the APAC region, enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  4. Act as a champion for employee engagement, fostering a positive and productive environment in our regional office and promoting a diverse and inclusive culture.
  5. Conduct leader and organization data analysis, provide valuable insights and solutions to the business, and address complex HR challenges.
  6. Oversee HR operations, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and support employees with HR-related inquiries.

Requirements

  1. Must have a degree in business administration or HR psychology, Human Resources, or a related field or possess equivalent work experience.
  2. A minimum of 15 years in HR functions, with at least 8-10 years as an HR Business Partner in a global or matrix organization.
  3. Proven experience in managing HR projects and facilitating leadership development initiatives across diverse stakeholders in senior roles.
  4. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to utilize data for informed decision-making and solving complex HR challenges.
  5. A pragmatic approach with an ability to engage in courageous conversations, balancing the drive for results with care for people.
