Your new company

A financial services organisation with headquarters in Germany is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner / Head of HR.

Your new role

Reporting to Head of Global HR Business Relations, the incumbent will be managing the HR team covering Singapore, APAC and Middle East regions with the full spectrum of HR-related matters.

Leadership and Management

  • Lead, manage, and develop the local HR team (5 team members).
  • Act as the face of HR for Singapore, APAC, and M.E. region.


Strategic HR Management

  • Harmonise HR policies across business segments and entities.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, training programs, and initiatives.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with local laws and regulations.


Talent Management

  • Support talent acquisition and recruitment needs.
  • Assist in interviewing and selection processes.
  • Provide career guidance to employees.
  • Involved in succession planning for different departments.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Advise on annual salary reviews and promotions.
  • Participate in Comp & Ben surveys to ensure market alignment.
  • Assess employee benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness.

Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct HR orientation and exit interviews.
  • Handle performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant manner.
  • Oversee employee engagement activities.

Operational Management

  • Manage relocation and overseas assignments.
  • Work with HR Controlling on annual HR budgeting.
  • Oversee third-party vendor contracts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing for all entities in the region.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Candidates should possess regional experience.
  • Familiar with local laws and governance processes to ensure compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
