Overview

Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is seeking a Senior HRBP covering multiple countries including India, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Australia. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and execute people strategies that drive organisational effectiveness, talent development, and cultural alignment for a diverse workforce across the region.

What you'll do

As the Senior HRBP for APAC, you will partner with business leaders to deliver impactful HR solutions that address immediate needs and long-term goals. Your day-to-day activities include facilitating strategic workforce planning sessions, leading talent reviews to identify emerging leaders, and implementing robust succession plans. By coaching managers at all levels, you will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise in conflict mediation will support positive workplace relations during periods of change. You will champion employee engagement initiatives that celebrate diversity while ensuring policy compliance across all locations. Through involvement in global HR projects—including performance management cycles and compensation reviews—you will contribute to the evolution of HR practices within the organisation.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with regional business leaders by acting as a strategic advisor on people strategy, talent development, and organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives, conduct talent reviews, and drive organisational design projects that align with business objectives across multiple geographies.
  • Champion succession planning by identifying high-potential talent and key roles while developing targeted strategies for performance management and employee growth.
  • Coach managers and employees to strengthen leadership maturity and team dynamics through tailored development programmes and ongoing feedback.
  • Mediates and advises on conflict resolution matters, organisational adjustments, and change management processes to ensure harmonious workplace relations.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives that foster cultural alignment across the region by collaborating with teams to understand challenges and co-create effective solutions.
  • Act as a daily point of contact for employees by guiding on HR policies, procedures, and individual concerns in line with group-wide and local regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR policies across domains and geographies while supporting risk mitigation related to change management.
  • Advise managers on team organisation, recruitment planning in collaboration with Talent Acquisition partners, and workforce management strategies.
  • Contribute actively to the deployment of group HR initiatives such as performance management cycles, compensation reviews, training programmes, and organisational changes.

  • Successful coaching of managers at various levels to develop leadership capabilities and foster team cohesion through empathetic communication.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems such as Workday and proficiency in data analytics for informed decision-making using metrics dashboards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities to influence stakeholders across cultures.
  • Experience managing HR projects involving change management or organisational redesigns within diverse geographical settings.
  • Track record of supporting recruitment planning efforts alongside Talent Acquisition partners for effective workforce management.
