This position reports to the Head of Human Resources Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR Training and Development Team.
- Align with management on companywide training strategies and spearhead efforts.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting Training and Development metrics.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and develop Training and Development plans aligned with organisation objectives.
- Work alongside the Human Resources Team in maintaining strong relationships with external customers to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates.
- Engage with local institutions, including ITE, Polytechnics and Universities, to attract fresh talents for key technical positions.
- Leverage knowledge of Workforce Singapore (WSG) and SkillsFuture grants, including Career Conversion Programme (CCP).
- Ensure compliance and maximize utilization of government-funded training initiatives.
- Ensure training activities are efficiently executed and aligned with operational needs.
- Conduct learning needs analysis and evaluations and propose upskilling and reskilling programmes.
- Contribute to Traineeship Recruitment efforts during Career Fairs.
- Any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Applicants with engineering or technical backgrounds are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR Training and Development.
- Experience within the Aerospace Industry would be advantageous.
- Experience with government grants and programmes such as WSG, SkillsFuture and Career Conversion Programmes.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple priorities, perform under pressure and work within tight timelines.
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills is mandatory.
