SENIOR HR EXECUTIVE
Job Purpose:
As a Senior HR Executive, you will provide essential operational and administrative HR support to the assigned Business Unit or Corporate Functions. You will work closely with the HR Team to support the implementation of HR strategies and policies, ensuring smooth HR operations and consistent HR service delivery. Your role will include supporting employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience, morale, and retention across the business.
Job Description:
Handle the full spectrum of HR duties for staff including recruitment and selection, orientation, exit, staff movement and disciplinary issues;
Identification and hiring of mission-critical open positions to be filled in consultation with project managers;
Recommend alternative sourcing channels or programs to source suitable candidates in line with business needs;
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and include check-in sessions to ensure smooth induction into company culture and job role;
Assist in the usage of compensation strategies and programs to attract, motivate, and retain the workforce.
Seamless and accurate delivery of HR services to Business Units on agreed standards including timely identification and problem resolution;
Serve as first point of contact for HR enquiries from business units and colleagues to provide accurate and timely information, advice and interpretation of HR policies and procedures;
Support the unit in review of process and procedures by leveraging on technology to ensure HR practices are up to date and in line with industry practices;
Any other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in HRM or Business Administration/Studies;
Minimum 5 years of relevant human resource experience;
Good interpersonal and communication skills;
High level of integrity and sensitivity in managing confidential information;
Pro-active, resourceful and meticulous;
Positive and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
People oriented, team player and willingness to learn;
Good in MS Office applications particularly MS Words and Excel;
Preferably with experience in construction or related industry.
