Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Guide supervisors and managers in performance management including performance improvement program (PIP)

  • Guide supervisors and managers in handling grievances and disciplinary process

  • Manage employee movements such as transfer, re-designation, promotion, resignation, termination, absence without official leave, re-employment etc

  • Provide support in programmes and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement such as townhall, festive celebration, team building program and wellness activities in collaboration with various committees

  • Facilitate new hire orientation and briefing in online/classroom style

  • Prepare, analyse and present monthly and adhoc reports

  • Support employee relation or union-related matters

  • Support HR improvement projects

  • Execute recruitment plans in collaboration with hiring managers to ensure open positions are successfully filled. (applicable to Corporate HRBP role only)

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business Studies or related fields

  • At least 3 years in HR experience in a generalist / business partnering role preferably with industrial relations or union experience

  • Familiarity with semiconductor industry or fast paced environment will be advantageous

  • Highly adaptable and pro-active with initiative and drive

  • Passionate and internal customers orientated

  • Possess excellent communication and people management skill with the ability to interact with all levels of staff

  • Meticulous, good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Words, Powerpoint, Excel, Power BI
