A leading HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee full HR functions, including recruitment, policy development, and performance management. Candidates should have at least 5 years of HR experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act is crucial, and experience in the construction industry is an added advantage. The role promotes a positive workplace culture and requires strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance appraisal, employee relations, and training & development.
Review, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company goals and compliance with Singapore labour laws.
Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection process, ensuring effective manpower planning and talent acquisition.
Drive performance management initiatives, including KPIs, evaluations, and employee engagement strategies.
Handle disciplinary issues, grievance procedures, and conflict resolution professionally and confidentially.
Support department heads in workforce planning, organisational development, and employee retention.
Lead HR reporting, payroll review, and statutory submissions (e.g., CPF, IR8A, MOM submissions).
Maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture and lead initiatives to improve employee morale and productivity.
Plan and execute employee bonding activities to strengthen team spirit and workplace engagement.
Stay updated with changes in employment legislation and ensure timely compliance.
Requirements
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, with min 2 years of leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
Hands-on, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
Experience in construction industry is an added advantage.
