Fong's Engineering and Manufacturing Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based medical device contract manufacturer. The company collaborates with major global names in the medical device industry and aims to be the preferred partner in advancing patient care through top-notch medical device development and production services.

Role Description

We are seeking a results-oriented Senior / HR Executive to join our team. This full-time, on-site position encompasses a wide range of HR responsibilities including recruitment, talent management, training, payroll administration, regulatory submissions, and providing value-added support to key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should proactively foster strong employee relationships, be willing to travel between facilities as needed, and be capable of developing and executing HR initiatives that support business growth. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance employee satisfaction and ensure long-term success will also be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with a background in engineering & contract manufacturing.
  • Over 5 years of experience as an HR generalist.
  • Proven track record in payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Manager in managing all HR functions.
  • Process payroll and medical claims for employees using Infotech.
  • Manage and update employee records in Infotech.
  • Handle work pass administration, including application, renewal, cancellation, and issuance.
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities from sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, to offboarding.
  • Coordinate with Heads of Departments on learning & development, hiring plans, resignations, confirmations, and HR-related matters.
  • Manage E-leave & E-attendance via Infotech, including leave type entry, entitlement, application, certificate collection & approval, and daily attendance monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions for government and related claims such as CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21), and clearance processes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports accurately and promptly.
  • Provide advice and handle employee inquiries on HR matters.
  • Undertake any additional HR administrative projects as assigned by management.
