A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes and HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Human Resources, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Sage HR systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Sage HR system is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to Finance Department.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end payroll independently, timely and accurately accordingly to set payroll timeline, payroll related activities, claims reimbursement, CPF contributions using Sage payroll system.

  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to Finance Department

  • Work closely with Finance Department on payroll closing and perform payroll reconciliations

  • Assist with staff queries on payroll and benefit related matters

  • Generate and maintain regular HR reports as required

  • Manage and maintain HR Portal for claims reimbursement & Time Management Systems.

  • Process statutory claims - NSmen, Maternity, Childcare Leave

  • Process year-end tax and IR21 tax clearance for foreign workers

  • Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee records

  • Process medical/dental related claims

  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or duties when required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources or related business fields

  • At least 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing sector with good understanding on HR processes, payroll administration, HR practices and Singapore Employment and Legislation practices

  • Proficient in Sage HR system an added advantage

  • Well verse in Microsoft office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Good verbal and written communication skill

  • Analytical and have problem-solving skill

  • Meticulous and detailed oriented

  • Ability to multitask and have excellent time management

  • Team player, proactive and take initiatives

  • High reliability and integrity in handling confidential information

  • Have an appropriate sense of urgency with an ability to work under pressure and in fast pace environment

  • Comfortable interacting with people at all levels

  • Able to start immediately or short notice period preferred
