Qualifications

Job description

Job Descriptions

  • Provide full spectrum of HR functional support – operational and as well as strategically to meet the objectives of the company.
  • Supervise the HR team in delivering & administering the full range of HR services.
  • Ensure payroll, claims, CPF and levies are processed and paid on time.
  • Ensure compliance to Employment Act, government regulatory requirements and company rules & policies.
  • Review all manpower requests, for replacement or new headcount, temporary or permanent.
  • Ensure manpower requests are promptly attended to by arranging for advertisement, shortlisting and interviewing the candidates to ensure ‘person-job’ & ‘person-culture’ fit.
  • Identify training, development, corporate needs and facilitate delivery & recommend suitable courses to fill the gaps and meeting the needs.
  • Facilitate staff performance appraisal & promotion exercise yearly -collation of assessment ratings, consolidate and moderate ratings for final approval.
  • Facilitate employee communication meeting and manage staff recognition program
  • Handle, coach, advise, guide, and assist the line departments on staff discipline, grievances, etc. and reaching resolutions.
  • Continuous reviewing of policies, process, compensation, and benefits.
  • Meet regularly with union officer to establish close tripartite relations for a harmonious employee-employer relation.
  • Drive HR related cost savings projects.
  • Counsel, coach, advice and talk to the employees on any HR related matters.
  • Other administrative duties like despatching of incoming mails and security & safety in the office.
  • Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Human Capital Management or Degree.
  • Minimum 10 years in similar capacity in a manufacturing environment.
