Job summary

JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La seeks a Director of Engineering to oversee the Engineering & Maintenance Department, guiding the Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance teams and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all hotel facilities and systems. You will support crisis management, regulatory compliance, projects and green initiatives.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical or building services engineering.
5-7 years in hotel engineering or facilities management with leadership experience.
Strong energy management and preventive maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily work of Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance teams.
Develop, implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, and systems.
Oversee the Building Management System (BMS) for energy performance and efficiency.
Lead sustainability initiatives including BCA Green Mark certification.
Monitor utility consumption and implement energy and water conservation measures.
