Job description

KeyStart is a home ownership programme supporting families with children living in rental communities who aspire to own homes. We aim to transform families' lives through stable housing by providing financial support, housing case work, and transitional assistance as they journey towards home ownership.

We are expanding our team and seek passionate individuals aligned with our mission. The Senior Home Ownership Specialist, reporting to the Head of Department (Home Ownership), will manage and mentor the Home Ownership team, supporting families throughout their home ownership journey.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Programme Development: Assist in developing and improving the Keystart programme to meet beneficiaries' needs and support its implementation.
  • Assessment & Guidance: Conduct assessments of families' needs and challenges, providing guidance and education to empower their home ownership efforts.
  • Casework Services: Offer personalized support, develop action plans, and assist families with home renovation under the Basic Habitation Programme.
  • Partnerships & Stakeholder Relations: Build relationships with government, community partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate resource sharing and advocacy.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for families with stakeholders, understanding housing policies and working to overcome systemic barriers.
  • Data & Research: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for program evaluation and improvement.
  • Supervision & Training: Conduct training and supervise Junior Specialists, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
