As a Senior Health & Safety Partner, you will play an important role as a leader responsible for shaping and driving the organization's health, safety & wellbeing strategy. Your role extends beyond compliance; it encompasses fostering a safety-first culture, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, global management, and external stakeholders to achieve our HS&W goals.
The role holder will assist in leading cultural change to embed behavioural health and safety throughout the business, encourage knowledge sharing, and serve as a conduit between internal and external stakeholders. You will influence and drive change within the business to differentiate Wienerberger from the competition.
The purpose of the role is to transform Wienerberger's approach to health, safety, and compliance to be best in class. To lead behavioural health and safety, engagement, and continuous improvement; react effectively to business requirements to ensure performance and development.
The role will have Wienerberger H&S Partners as direct reports and will be responsible for supporting them to provide exceptional support to the business, uphold high standards, compliance, and continuous improvement, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
This is a field-based position covering our Northern territory, ideally based near Manchester. A company car will be provided, with frequent travel to sites across the region.
You will be an experienced health and safety professional with qualifications in training and facilitation, providing support across multiple sites. You will have a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, experience in manufacturing environments, and strong analytical skills. Your knowledge of health and safety regulations, leadership abilities, and communication skills will be essential.
You should be highly detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and flexible to travel. A full UK driving license is required.
