Job summary

Tengah General and Community Hospital in Singapore invites an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist (Hands) to lead and develop hand OT services as part of the NUHS cluster. You will plan, design, and oversee workflow and staffing while collaborating with clinical, allied health, operational and administrative teams.

Applicants should hold an AHPC-recognised degree in Occupational Therapy with full registration.

Qualifications

• AHPC-recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPC registration
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant clinical speciality are advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational, time-management and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent communication, written and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Plan Hand Occupational Therapy services for Tengah General and Community Hospital, including space, design, workflow and manpower
• Collaborate with clinical, allied health, operational and administrative stakeholders in planning hand OT services
• Assess and manage patients referred for hand OT independently and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient clinical assessment in OT records accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare practitioners within and beyond NUHS
• Comply with clinical and service standards
• Assist with administrative duties as tasked
