Raffles Hospital in Singapore seeks a Senior/ Occupational Therapist to provide autonomous occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and care planning. You will maintain competency, document care and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires AHPC registration and a degree in Occupational Therapy. Supervision of Therapy Assistants and involvement in administrative duties are expected as part of daily operations at the Singapore facility.

Formación

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPC registration.
• Educate Therapy Assistants on patient management and treatment procedures.
• Manage department caseload and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain consistent competency in area of expertise.
• Demonstrate professional and legal accountability for all work.
• Ensure completion of patient documentation and records to reflect care.
• Provide clinical assessment and autonomously determine need for OT intervention.
• Use evidence-based practice to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Manage complex and challenging cases in specialty area.
• Communicate and make recommendations to staff to maximize patient care.
• Orientate, supervise and advise staff on patient care as required.
• Work with Therapy Assistants on administrative responsibilities.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor.
