Job summary

BDO Singapore is seeking a Senior Associate to assist clients with GST compliance, including review and e-file of GST returns and simplified GST returns. You will support GST health checks (ASK and ACAP), assist with GST registration applications, exemptions, and GST remission schemes, and advise on complex GST transactions.

You will also mentor juniors, collaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks, and help digitalize GST processes for greater efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA or CPA recognised by ISCA.
• 1–2 years of GST experience.
• Knowledge of Singapore income tax laws.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with review and e-file of GST returns, simplified GST returns and Statement of Claims.
• Assist clients with GST health checks such as ASK and ACAP.
• Assist clients with applications for GST registration and exemptions.
• Assist clients in managing tax queries and audits.
• Provide advisory services on complex GST transactions.
• Support engagement manager and work closely with team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Contribute to leveraging technology to digitalize and automate GST processes, improving efficiency.
• Mentor and guide juniors or associates, delegating tasks and overseeing their work as a Senior.
