Job summary

GIC Private Limited is seeking a Group Controller to oversee centralized accounting operations for the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with internal teams and external service providers to deliver accurate financial reporting throughout the investment life cycle.

The candidate will engage in audit support, governance over the investment life cycle, and finance transformation initiatives, leveraging IFRS/SFRS knowledge and SAP

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA qualification; Big 4 training highly preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and SFRS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
• Committed, motivated, and meticulous in fast-paced environments.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player with interpersonal and IT skills.
• Proactive self-starter able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting for group level accounts and subsidiaries.
• Ensure timely reconciliations and GL close monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve exceptions.
• Review outsourced quarterly accounting packages and ensure accuracy.
• Support external audits and improve the global audit program.
• Drive finance transformation through process redesign and data analytics.
