Job summary

GIC is seeking a Group Controller to manage centralized accounting operations for group level accounts and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with internal policies and deadlines. The role includes overseeing accounting processing, reconciliations, and the quarterly GL close, while coordinating with service providers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA qualification and Big 4 training preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience including accounting and audit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting processing for investment-related books of record.
• Oversee account reconciliations including cash and intercompany balances.
• Review exception items and collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Monitor quarterly GL closing across portfolio groups.
• Review management accounts for downstream use.
• Ensure timely outsourced accounting packages are reviewed for accuracy.
• Review annual accounts of investment holding companies and liaise with external auditors.
• Support continuous improvements to the global audit program.
• Drive process improvements, implement new technologies, and enhance data analytics capabilities.
