Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic International is seeking a meticulous and proactive professional to support governance and management of its research, innovation and commercialisation funding portfolio.

The appointee will coordinate internal and external grants across the project lifecycle, support the TIE Fund Allocation Committee, monitor project performance and funding utilisation, and work with Principal Investigators, Technology Centres and corporate departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in STEM research, research administration, grants, programme or project management.
• Fresh graduates in STEM or finance fields with related experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned internal and external grants from application to post-project follow-up.
• Review grant submissions, amendments, progress and final reports for completeness and compliance.
• Track milestones, budgets, fund utilisation and reporting obligations; escalate risks or delays.
• Plan and coordinate funding exercises and meetings, including communications and minutes.
• Advise researchers on grant processes, terms and reporting; clarify non-routine matters.
• Maintain accurate project databases, records and audit trails; prepare dashboards/reports.
• Provide portfolio support, including coordination of funding, IP, contract and licensing matters.
• Liaise with Finance, HR, Legal, auditors and partners to support project delivery.
• Develop and improve grant-management SOPs, templates and digital records.
