Qualifications

• Over 10 years in wood products industry, with 5+ years in GM/factory manager roles.
• Deep knowledge of wooden doors/windows, mortise & tenon joints, fire door components, insulation and hardware installation.
• Understanding of furniture construction including cabinets and wardrobes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the 3-year strategy and annual operating plan to hit SGD 20 million+ revenue and ≥12% net margin.
• Coordinate operations across workshops and installation teams for seamless workflow.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain for solid wood doors, fire doors, cabinets, wardrobes and fixed furniture; target on-time delivery ≥95% and first-time pass ≥98%.
• Negotiate and approve projects > SGD 1 million with developers, GCs, chain hotels and ID firms.
• Maintain key accounts for HDB, BTO, and apartments with renewal rate ≥80%.
• Review quotations and calculate costs to meet gross profit targets: Doors ≥30%, Fire Doors ≥35%, Custom Furniture ≥32%.
• Prevent order surges by ensuring material specs and sizes are accurate.
• Ensure factory compliance with MOM, SCDF, NEA, and BCA requirements.
• Promote mechanization through CNC, edge banders, and automated painting lines.
• Lead a leadership team including factory manager, production, project, design/order breakdown, and installation supervisors.
• Establish a craftsman grading and piece-rate system to reduce turnover and attract skilled workers.
