PerkinElmer is seeking a Site Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement at our Singapore manufacturing site, with responsibilities spanning Johor and China. You will lead supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and align purchasing with corporate goals.

The ideal candidate has a ten-plus year track record in manufacturing procurement, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive cost savings and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of international sourcing professionals, setting clear objectives, priorities, and performance standards.
• Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive organizational value creation by cultivating a cross-cultural supply base ecosystem.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and logistics teams to support business objectives.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics.
• Interact and collaborate with Johor/Singapore plant suppliers and other sites when required.
