Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to support global water and waste construction engineering for semiconductor facility projects.

You will cover design through commissioning, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and quality while driving sustainability and operational excellence. The role involves leading design reviews, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and applying AI-enabled methods to optimize project performance across US and Asia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Construction Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years in engineering, 5+ years on water/waste construction in EPCM settings.
Experience with water/wastewater systems design and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead water and waste construction engineering across the full project lifecycle.
Drive delivery of large-scale fab projects meeting scope, schedule, cost and quality.
Review and validate designs for compliance with standards and project requirements.
Provide technical support to resolve construction and design issues.
Monitor progress and resolve technical challenges promptly.
Contribute to cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications.
Coordinate consultants and contractors for aligned execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment.
Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
Identify and mitigate project risks and support BKMs and continuous improvement.
Support sustainability programs and capacity planning across sites.
Apply AI-assisted tools to improve analysis and decision-making.
