Job summary

GovTech, Government Technology Agency, Singapore, invites applications for an Executive Engineer/Engineer, Geotechnical and Tunnels to support major land transport projects. You will plan and design geotechnical works, manage site investigations, review submissions, and provide specialised geotechnical input to road and rail schemes.

The role requires a background in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years in geotechnical design and construction, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical design and construction of deep excavations and / or tunnels.
• Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design development of road and rail projects.
• Plan and manage site investigation works.
• Conduct feasibility and engineering studies.
• Review design submissions and carry out geotechnical design for land transport infrastructure projects.
• Manage site investigation contracts and design consultants.
• Conduct project safety reviews and construction audits for major infrastructure projects.
• Review and update engineering standards.
• Provide technical specialist support to other LTA divisions in planning, design, construction, asset maintenance / management and regulatory functions.
