Job summary

Ailytics is hiring a senior ML/CV engineer to own and scale generative AI capabilities across real-world video data. You will fine-tune LLMs/VLMs, build new features, and own deployment and architecture from experimentation to production.

Expect rigorous evaluation, multimodal system work, and opportunities to grow a team while shaping product direction. This is a remote-friendly role with APAC focus and Singapore/HK possibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a computer vision or machine learning engineer, with at least 2 years focused on generative AI.
• Strong proficiency in Python with solid data structures, algorithms and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience fine-tuning open-weight foundation models such as VLMs/LLMs/vision models.
• Deep understanding of LLM inference internals and decoding strategies.
• Experience serving models in production with multi-GPU sharding, memory and throughput optimisations.
• Experience with edge/on-premise inference is a strong advantage.
• Shipped a scalable LLM-based application using PyTorch and Hugging Face.
• Understanding MCP and agentic AI; strong evaluation and experiment design.
• Experience with multimodal systems (vision + language).

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune, adapt and experiment with LLMs, VLMs and foundation models.
• Build new generative AI features from idea to customer use.
• Optimize accuracy, latency and inference cost in production.
• Own architecture and deployment of generative AI systems.
• Build evaluation benchmarks and harnesses to prove improvements.
• Curate and refine datasets and labeling quality.
• Set standards and build the team; hire and mentor engineers.
