Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier GenAI products with production deployments at customer sites in Singapore. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions inside client environments.

You will work on multi-agent systems and state management, delivering white-glove deployments while gathering field insights to influence product roadmaps. English proficiency is required and visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or related coding languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
• Ability to communicate in English fluently to engage clients in the region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google’s AI products and customer's live infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and translate them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development practices and translate concepts to Mandarin-speaking audiences.
