Qualifications

• Specialisation in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge in power/gas system studies and analysis is advantageous.
• Experience in power/gas system operation preferred.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken communication.

Responsabilités

• Assess and co-ordinate gas transmission system maintenance requests by GasLicensees.
• Review contingency plans for restoration of gas supply during emergencies.
• Monitor the realtime gas transmission system operation for reliability and security.
• Analyze gas network performance and disturbances to identify improvements.
• Investigate disturbances and prepare reports on gas transmission issues.
• Review departmental practices for efficiency and productivity improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory fuel changeover framework for licensees.
• Review Gas Agreements and Codes of Practice and propose improvements.
• Study gas-electricity interdependency for system stability and impact assessments.
