Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is currently assisting a local Oil & Gas leader in Singapore's West region to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer.

You will supervise reliability of electrical equipment in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area and help implement maintenance programs while coordinating with government agencies. You will also manage minor CAPEX projects, investigate electrical failures to identify root causes, and support expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
Experience in electrical maintenance or design.

Responsibilities

Supervise and enhance the reliability of electrical equipment in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
Implement and maintain reliability programs and maintenance procedures for electrical systems.
Manage minor CAPEX electrical projects in line with company standards.
Investigate electrical failures to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, on electrical matters.
Support major expansion projects from an electrical and operational perspective.
Work with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure system integrity.
Participate in emergency response, with assigned roles and responsibilities.
