Job summary

REC Group is seeking a highly motivated System Engineer / Senior Engineer to manage gas and chemical systems at the Singapore site, including contributing to the MOM Safety Case. You will lead the TGCM-enabled operations, monitor vendors, and drive improvements for safety, reliability and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in gas/chemical systems, a chemical engineering background, and strong leadership capabilities. Site-based work with occasional audits and expansions is expected.

Qualifications

At least 5 years relevant experience in Gas and Chemical Systems.
Prefer Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Good supervisory and leadership skills.
Proactive & assertive team player.

Responsibilities

Maintain gas, chemical and life safety systems for the entire site (2A, 1D, 2F, H2 bunker) with TGCM support.
Conduct monthly KPI review meetings with TGCM and ensure inventory, delivery and storage are optimal with no interruptions.
Monitor and supervise vendors to ensure compliance with PM plans.
Lead projects involving chemical and gas systems, including dismantling, A&A and expansion activities.
Oversee on-site technical and engineering matters relating to gas and chemical systems.
Attend site meetings and audits to ensure quality and timely delivery; perform root cause analysis for incidents.
