Due to our expanding, we are seeking a highly creative and experienced Game Designer to help shape the vision and direction of our next title. The Game Designer will be responsible for defining the core gameplay mechanics, narrative structure, and overall player experience.

This role requires a strong understanding of game design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the game's high-level design documents, including the core concept, target audience, gameplay pillars, and key features.
• Define the overall narrative structure, including the main storyline, character arcs, and world lore.
• Design compelling gameplay mechanics that are engaging, innovative, and aligned with the game's vision.
• Create detailed game design specifications for various game systems, including combat, progression, economy, and social features.
• Work closely with artists, programmers, and other designers to ensure that the game's vision is realized.
• Conduct playtests and analyze player feedback to iterate on the game design and improve the overall player experience.
• Research and analyze competing games to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
• Present game design concepts to stakeholders and advocate for the game's vision.

Your Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on high-level game planning.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing successful games.
• Deep understanding of game design principles, including gameplay mechanics, narrative structure, and player psychology.
• Ability to communicate, read, write in English with fluency.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Passion for games and a desire to create innovative and engaging experiences.
• Experience with scripting languages and game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
