Job summary

THE BANK OF NEW YORK MELLON in Singapore seeks a Senior Specialist, Production Services Application to join our FX Execution Services team. The role emphasizes incident, problem and change management, ownership and delivery, and an automation-first, AI-enabled approach to improve platform reliability.

You will drive continuous improvement with engineering, lead FX domain initiatives, and engage stakeholders across front-office, operations, and engineering to ensure high-availability FX trading

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in global production services/application support for mission-critical platforms.
• Proven incident, problem and change management track record in high-pressure trading environments.
• Automation-first approach with AI-enabled tooling to reduce manual toil and improve reliability.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive initiatives end-to-end.
• Deep technical/operational knowledge across monitoring, resiliency, cloud, and middleware.
• Experience in FX trading, electronic execution, liquidity, market data, or capital markets platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on with Windows and Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging (Kafka, MQ).
• Familiarity with FX protocols, trading connectivity, FIX messaging, and electronic trading.

Responsibilities

• Operational discipline and risk reduction across incident, problem, change, and escalation management.
• End-to-end ownership and execution of initiatives with accountability and quality.
• Champion automation-first, AI-enabled tooling to improve service quality and scalability.
• Identify systemic issues and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Provide FX domain leadership across platforms, workflows, and critical services.
• Engage stakeholders with clear communication, governance, and collaboration.
• Drive service reliability, availability, and time-to-restore improvements for FX platforms.
