Job summary

Agoda is seeking an FX Controller to join the Finance team in Bangkok. You will own the accounting for foreign-currency transactions, FX exposures and hedge accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple entities and ledgers.

You will lead end-to-end close activities, review journal entries, and drive improvements in controls, reconciliations and data integrity within a complex multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 6–12+ years of relevant FX accounting or treasury accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of FX derivatives and hedge accounting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end FX accounting for transactions, balances and exposures.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual FX close activities with accuracy.
• Review FX-related journal entries, gains, losses and hedge entries.
• Ensure correct currency treatment across accounting processes.
• Oversee derivative valuations, settlements and hedge accounting.
• Develop view of FX exposure and reconcile with Treasury systems and GL.
• Lead and improve FX governance, controls and data quality.
