Job summary

The NTU Investment Office, part of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Fund Counsel to support complex investments across asset classes and geographies. You will provide legal guidance throughout the investment lifecycle, identify contractual and regulatory risks, and work closely with investment professionals and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in Law from a reputable institution.
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification legal experience.
Strong experience in investment transactions, fund structures, corporate transactions, private markets and/or financial investments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters in a fast-paced investment environment.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Review and advise on fund and investment structures, transaction terms and related legal documentation.
Negotiate investment terms and transaction documentation with counterparties and external counsel.
Advise investment teams on key legal, contractual, governance and regulatory considerations.
Provide commercially focused legal advice that balances investment objectives with appropriate risk management.
