Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Web Engineer to build modern citizen-facing government interfaces using React and Next.js. You will design responsive web apps, RESTful services, and database integrations in a secure AWS environment.

The role emphasizes RBAC, PDPA compliance, and scalable infrastructure with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC tools. Experience with government projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building citizen-facing government systems.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of modern web development practices and component-based architecture.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Next.js).
• Mobile-responsive web development and/or Progressive Web App (PWA).

Responsibilities

• Building modern, component-based web applications using frameworks like React / Next.js.
• Designing mobile-responsive and/or Progressive Web App experiences.
• Architecting RESTful APIs and working with relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Implementing role-based access control, audit logging, and data compliance (PDPA).
• Integrating with gogverment platform and notification services (AWS SES, SNS, Twilio).
• Building scheduling, availability, and QR-based attendance tracking features.
• Creating dashboards and exportable reports (PDF, Excel).
• Developing search, filtering, and personalization features - including similarity-based recommendations and AI/ML integrations (e.g. OpenAI).
• Deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS or similar).
• Working with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK).
