Job summary

ScienTec Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to turn ideas into working products in a fast-moving environment. You will own the full stack from frontend and backend to APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to drive concepts from prototype to production, balancing speed, scalability, and security while delivering robust software with automated tests and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Proven end-to-end web application development experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate full-stack web applications end-to-end.
• Develop across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Translate ideas into working software quickly and iterate with feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and stakeholders from discovery to delivery.
• Establish architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, security, and performance.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and data persistence layers.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and security controls.
• Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Identify reusable components and patterns to accelerate development.
• Take ownership from experimentation through production deployment.
