Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions across the full technology stack. You’ll work on backend and frontend development, APIs, system integrations, cloud infra and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include designing full-stack apps, implementing REST/GraphQL APIs, building microservices, developing frontend with modern JS frameworks, and managing AWS infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform or AWS

Qualifications

• Experience with full-stack design and implementation across backend and frontend.
• Proficiency with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with REST, GraphQL and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications and internal platforms.
• Translate architectural requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Develop backend services, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices and serverless functions.
• Build responsive frontend applications using modern JS frameworks.
• Design and maintain cloud infra on AWS; implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Provision infra with Terraform, AWS CDK or OpenTofu and manage integrations.
• Develop and support event-driven architectures and data stores.
• Ensure security, governance and compliance across solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams throughout the lifecycle.
