Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Formal training and certification on software engineering and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Proven experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Java/Python using TDD/BDD.
• Proficiency in modern full stack technologies including Java, Spring, Python, ReactJS, EMR and AWS services.
• Experience in Reactive Programming.
• Hands-on experience with caching and messaging/streaming technologies like Redis, ElasticCache, Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Understanding of microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures.
• Fluency in AI coding tools and AI-assisted software development.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or breakdown technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Collaborate with technical architect and Designers for new products.
• Follow and promote Agile practices including Scrum, Lean, BDD and Continuously Delivery.
• Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance across the organization.
• Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve value realized by automation.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software development.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
