Job summary

Salt is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a 12‑month renewable contract to work with a social media client. You will collaborate with engineers and game studios to build experiences, including platform services integration and game content.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of software development, strong Unity knowledge, C#/JavaScript, and AI/Prompt Engineering skills; you will operate independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative gaming environment on supported platforms.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 5–7 years software development experience.
• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering and AI skill creation.
• Proficiency in C#, PHP, Python, JavaScript, OOP, and component-based architecture.
• Ability to work independently with minimal outside supervision.
• Extensive Unity experience including asset bundles, shaders, particles, and editor tools.
• Experience developing for current generation gaming platforms.
• Experience with version control and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external game studios to integrate games onto the platform.
• Collaborate with internal engineers to improve the product roadmap.
• Optimize game systems for best performance across platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Help launch top titles and improve code quality across games.
