Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to own the full software lifecycle—from frontend to backend, and AWS-based infrastructure. You will design, develop, and maintain applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript, while building RESTful APIs and automating CI/CD with GitLab.

This hands-on role covers DevOps and cloud operations to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with Terraform and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of NestJS or other Node.js frameworks is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend applications using React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with AWS services, Redis, and databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot defects to improve performance.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform; monitor reliability and security.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product managers, QA, and security teams to deliver reliable releases.
