Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to help shape the CAIP platform for Corporate Actions & Income Processing. You will join a global team, design, build and deploy scalable CAIP components interfacing with upstream and downstream systems, and contribute to the strategic roadmap.

The role requires 10-12+ years in backend Java, Spring Boot, and microservices within the finance sector, with strong REST API design and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in Backend Development and Microservices using Java Spring Boot, J2EE, REST within the finance sector.
• Strong design, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud development, Azure preferred.
• Knowledge of API design and system integration using REST APIs and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and delivering large, scalable systems.
• Experience in Full stack Java development, including Java/J2EE, React JS, Kafka, REST APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
• Prior experience developing applications for complex financial use cases in a product company.

We are looking for an experienced decentral developer joining us in driving the future of Corporate Actions & Income Processing (CAIP). In your role you will be working together with developers in Poland as well as Switzerland in an agile pod to design, build and deploy the target state of CAIP interfacing with a variety of up- and downstream applications and technologies.
