Job summary

KEY CONNECT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the end-to-end design and development of a high-visibility portal application.

You will set architecture, coding standards, and best practices, while building scalable backend services in Python and Django and a responsive UI with React. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, conduct code reviews and optimize performance, and ensure security,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django (backend) and React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (frontend).
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of the portal application.
• Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python and Django.
• Build responsive UI using React and modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the application.
• Mentor and guide developers and junior team members.
• Work closely with DevOps for CI/CD, deployments, and environment setup.
