Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software engineering across architecture, development, testing, deployment and production operations.
Experience delivering new software applications and modernising legacy systems.
Strong fundamentals and hands-on programming experience.
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Develop technical solutions and architecture for new applications and legacy system modernization.
Design and implement scalable software solutions using microservices, event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, and modern integration patterns.
Develop, test, and maintain production-quality applications with focus on code quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, pair programming, TDD, refactoring, and test automation.
Develop prototypes, spikes, and POCs to validate approaches and mitigate risks.
Support deployment using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
Identify technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
Establish monitoring and observability to support performance and production operations.
Facilitate architecture reviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and retrospectives to improve delivery.
Coach and mentor client engineering teams through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to support end-to-end delivery.
