Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial & Investment Bank’s Sales & Research Technology team to design and deliver client- and sales-facing UI for the Markets Execute platform. You will apply deep front-end expertise, modern practices, and AI-assisted development to build secure, scalable web apps with meaningful business impact.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and contribute to architecture decisions while advancing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years front-end experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, RxJS.
Hands-on system design, development, testing, reactive programming.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure coding practices.
Experience coaching engineers on AI-assisted development tools and validation.

Responsibilities

Build and support client- and sales-facing UI capabilities of the Markets Execute platform.
Develop and evolve front-end architecture blueprints and scalable patterns.
Collaborate with Product Owner, UX, and QA on requirements, estimations, and planning.
Develop UI features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React with the team component library.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to delivery quality and engineering practices.
Learn about financial markets through partners and training resources.
Optimize web applications for performance and reliability; ensure security standards.
Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery outcomes.
