Tap Growth ai is hiring a Senior Front-end Engineer in Singapore to build and maintain reusable UI components within an established design system. You will translate Figma designs into production-ready code, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and high-quality testing.

You will review Figma specs, collaborate with designers and developers, map design tokens, and implement localization, RTL layouts, and currency formats.

Qualifications

• Experience building reusable UI components in a design system.
• Translating design specs (Figma) into production-ready front-end code.
• Strong knowledge of design tokens, component architecture, and typed props APIs.
• Experience with responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, preferably WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Experience with unit testing, visual regression, and accessibility testing.
• Experience using Storybook and documenting components.
• Experience using AI coding assistants for development, testing, or documentation.
• Understanding localisation, RTL layouts, and international date/number/currency formats.

Responsabilités

• Review Figma specifications and verify variant states against the design system.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to clarify requirements.
• Map Figma variables to code design tokens for colours, typography, spacing, and motion.
• Develop reusable UI components with strongly typed props and multiple variants.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and keyboard/screen-reader support.
• Implement localisation, RTL, and locale-specific formats.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and documentation while ensuring quality.
• Maintain reusable prompts, context files, and coding conventions.
• Write unit, interaction, visual regression, and accessibility tests across themes.
• Conduct visual reviews with designers to align implementations with designs.
• Document components in Storybook with usage guidelines and tokens.
• Follow design-system governance, code review and release processes.
• Support adoption by development teams and provide feedback to improve the design system.
