SCB-JULIUS BAER (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lead Front-End Engineer to own the technical direction of our enterprise Design System, collaborating with design, product, and architecture teams to deliver scalable UI.

You will drive standards, build reusable components, ensure WCAG accessibility, and mentor engineers while aligning front-end strategies with business goals across multiple applications.

Qualifications

Experience leading technical discussions and architecture reviews.
Ability to mentor engineers and conduct code reviews.
Proven collaboration across Engineering, Product, UX, and Architecture.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Own the technical direction and evolution of the enterprise Design System.
Design, develop, and maintain reusable, accessible UI components.
Define front-end architecture, APIs, design tokens, theming, and engineering best practices.
Govern component lifecycle, versioning, release strategy, and backward compatibility.
Drive Design System adoption through technical guidance, documentation, code reviews, and developer enablement.
Champion accessibility by ensuring components comply with WCAG standards and accessibility best practices.
