Your role

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in managing all finance and accounting functions to achieve business and financial objectives.

Your role combines aspects of financial accounting & analysis, managerial reporting, planning and budgeting, as well as strengthening internal controls. This is an important role that has ownership over preparing, presenting, and explaining all financial information for related business verticals, as well as partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to management and corporate to support strategic decision-making;
  • Analyze and review financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;
  • Perform financial analysis to support business decisions;
  • Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting in conjunction with Global Business Support;
  • Prepare year-end budgets and quarterly forecasts;
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting, risk analysis, and investigative issues;
  • Support all audit and tax-related matters;
  • Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports in compliance with regulations and standards.

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of experience within a multinational environment, preferably in luxury goods, FMCG, trading, or retail sector, with a strong technical background;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving and ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to perform highly detailed work on multiple, concurrent tasks;
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize initiatives in a fluid and sometimes ambiguous environment;
  • Good team player with proven ability to partner with business leaders;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP and Hyperion a plus).
